Shipping

We strive to ship all orders within 2–3 business days of purchase, unless otherwise noted. Because each Brousseau & Dov shaving bowl is finished by hand, orders are prepared individually rather than pulled from pre-decorated stock. Each is then carefully packed to ensure your shaving bowl arrives safely and in excellent condition.

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, and most international destinations served by FedEx. Domestic orders typically ship via FedEx as well, but may also be fulfilled through other reliable carriers such as UPS or USPS. All international orders are shipped using FedEx International Economy.

We use flat-rate shipping for all orders, with rates based on destination. Domestic orders under $150 ship for $9.95, while orders of $150 or more ship free. For international orders, flat-rate pricing is applied by region.

We are unable to ship to PO boxes or military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO). If an order is placed using one of these addresses, we will reach out to request a residential or business alternative.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Estimated delivery times:

  • United States: 3–7 business days
  • Canada: 4–8 business days
  • International: 6–12 business days.

International Orders

We ship to all countries served by FedEx, with a few exceptions due to service or customs restrictions.

International shipping rates are flat-rate based on location:

  • Canada: $18 USD
  • United Kingdom/Western Europe: $25 USD
  • Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, and other developed regions in Asia: $30 USD
  • Rest of World: $38 USD

If your order includes more than one shaving bowl, an Additional International Shipping (per bowl) charge of $12 will be added at checkout to help cover the higher cost of multi-bowl shipments.

Duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in the shipping cost. These charges are determined by your country and are the responsibility of the buyer. You may be required to pay them upon delivery.

Porcelain bowls are delicate items. While we package them with care, we recommend selecting shipping insurance at checkout, especially for international orders.

At this time, we do not accept international returns unless the item arrives damaged or defective. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos if possible. We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund as needed.

Returns – United States and Canada

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll gladly accept returns on eligible items. As a small company doing everything we can to create something special, we’ve designed our return process to be fair, clear, and sustainable for both you and us.

To initiate a return, please contact us at support@brousseauanddov.com within 14 days of delivery. Once approved, we’ll send you a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and instructions. You then have 30 days from the original delivery date to ship the item back.

Eligibility:

  • Item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received
  • Include proof of purchase (packing slip or confirmation email)
  • Returns are not accepted for sale items or gift cards

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrives damaged or defective. To ensure safe delivery, we recommend using a trackable shipping service. While we cannot assume responsibility for lost returns, we’ll do our best to assist if something goes wrong.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos. We’ll handle the claim with the carrier and make things right, either with a replacement or a refund, depending on availability.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or shipping error.
